Golf is booming the US since the pandemic, after decades of decline. You can be outside and away form everyone. The UK and Europe are still keeping golf courses closed, for some goofy illogical reason... it's safe to go to a crowded supermarket, which is nothing more than a petrie dish of Covid, but you can't walk alone and away from everyone on a golf course. It's insane and has devastated the golf industry in Europe.

So where do people eat lunch? On the greens? Nope, in the clubhouse. Probably with very little effective anti viral measures in place. Pure spin from an obselete so called sport trying to sell itself a saviour.

Most Japanese golf course restaurants already have 10'-12' spacing between tables.
To each their own.

Most stressful day of my life was golf weekend with my boss and company (my first time at golf). People were visibly irritated and angry if you take too long or take too many shots. Not fun at all. However, the golf cart driving is awesome. I recommend you try hiking or surfing if you don't have enough money to golf with golf freaks.

If you hate golf and golf courses so much, maybe you should stop playing.
