It was so encouraging to see how Minamino scored his first PL goal within three minutes.

Without the Champions League matches and with its key players returning from injuries, I believe Liverpool will continue to perform well in this spectacular manner.

So happy to see Minamino get a goal.

Liverpools squad is so strong and add in Arsenal's woes it makes it taste even nicer

The score line says it all 7-0.

Go top with 6 points clear and now 8 days without a game. Every Liverpool player makes the one next to him a better player.

Liverpool demolished them. Good to see Minamino get a goal.

Arteta having a bad time. I really liked him as a player and he comes across as a great lad. Badly needs a result next match.

Bravo Don Carlo!

very happy to see you up there with us and in second place.

Minamino's goal reminded me about his fluid-attacking style against Liverpool in the Champions League season 2019-2020. It was his outstanding performances at Anfield that had Klopp's captured attention.

I believe that with more games to play and adapt to Liverpool's attacking style, Minamino will be back to his best.

Cheers, mate. I was just looking for signs that we were moving in the right direction this season and Ancelotti is more than delivering on that.

He even goes shopping in Bootle Strand. Class act.

Brilliant from Liverpool, and amazing goal from Minamino! First EPL goal for him for the greatest football club on earth. Hopefully the first of many!

Liverpool for the title!

Jealous Spurs fan again!

He even goes shopping in Bootle Strand. Class act.

My Nana lived there before it was built. Nevada St. Used to be in the kitchen dept of Woolie's. Next to then famous Appleby Flour Mill owned by a Quaker family to provide cheaper flour to the people. When we were children we called it the haunted house because all the men were white covered head to toe in white flour. Heavily bombed by the Germans.

Nana's house lower left next to bomb site. The Strand is now there.

This half of the season for Liverpool was a huge pendulum from a 7-2 defeat by Aston Villa to a 7-0 winner over Palace. Oct 4th we still had both Van Dijk and Gomez. Van Dijk was seriously injured in the Everton Derby, Oct 17. October was a horrible month for the team and fans.

I was expecting worse without the talented Van Dijk but in fact Fabinho has stepped in and helped to prevent the goal leaks. We are into the last 16 in Europe. Hendo helped out in defense too.

Van Dijk and Gomez out for the season.

I think I would like to see Fabinho and Van Dijk partner in defense, they would make a hell of a pair.

He's an intuitive defender, but we need Fab in midfield. We certainly needed him between our first and second goals yesterday when Palace were all over us. If Hendo gets injured again we have a thin midfield without him.

Klopp will get a defender when the transfer window opens. I'd go for Mings or Willi Orban from Leipzig.

Eze & Schlupp looked very good for Palace until we knocked the back out of them.

The PL league is a shadow of say 5 to 10 years ago. The gunners at the tail end of the table points to the fallen standards. I don't see any of the PL teams making it to the semis of the CL.

We love Liverpool! Mane is my favorite! All Liverpool players are worl class players.

It points to the Gunner's fallen standards.

I don't see any of the PL teams making it to the semis of the CL.

If you want a gentleman's bet on that, I'll see you in April for another chat

Really? I see one winning it. Liverpool. Too much class for European clubs.

Liverpool teams the BBC Sport Award for 2020, "Best Team" and Klopp wins "Best Manager". Hamilton wins  "BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2020."

@ Zichi - brilliant choices by the BBC! Lewis (the GOAT) winning the big one will stir up his haters lol!
