How sadly we the great have fallen. World Champions. European Champions. English League Champions. Some would say the higher you go the further you can fall. When I first became a Liverpool support in my early childhood, they were in the second division.

Kloop and the team have suffered too many injured player, serious injuries keeping out for the whole of the season.

Well, we badly need a reset before we don't even make the top four.

The injuries have affected them and there is a terrible lack of confidence. Even the keeper who was outstanding last season looks very shaky.

A shocking collapse in the last 15 minutes against a Leicester side they thrashed 4-0 in the same fixture just a year ago. Their confidence has completely gone, sad to say. It seems that Wijnaldum may be off in the summer, too. A couple of stirring wins in the Champions League might restore a bit of that confidence. They really seem to miss the home support at Anfield as well.

I think all teams have suffered from the missing home fans but especially so with Liverpool. The fans are the 12th man.

Everton could finish above us.

Everton could finish above us.

At the moment, I’d say Chelsea look CL spot material. There is enough quality in that squad to make top 4. Everton still too inconsistent and liable to lose to basically anyone to finish top 4.

City have still got de Bruyne and Aguero to come back. Gundogan has been outstanding.

Everton are up next. Actually since the last Derby game back in October when we lost Van Dijk to injury was the start of Liverpool's downturn.
