Boycott, divest from, and sanction Israel for its incessant abuses of the human rights if the Palestinians.

I’m for a one state solution in which everyone has an equal vote. Let the non-Arab Israelis fight it out at the ballot box instead of slaughtering Palestinians.

I know it's impossible, but i hope the US would soon try to make a change in its policy of unconditional support of the terror state.

The world needs to put an end to this conflict by isolating and sanctioning israel for stealing Palestinian lands and terrorizing them for almost a century.

All the deaths are an absolute tragedy on both sides and where is Biden? Israel is our closest ally and the guy is silent on what’s going on? Is he worried about implicating Iran having a hand in this?

The Palestinians are absolutely in the losing position on this and if weak Palestinian authority and Hamas can’t bring a halt to these attacks, Gaza will be leveled to the ground and if then what? The leaders of both authorities need to seriously think what they want for their people, but this will be their complete destruction and downfall.

Israeli Arabs attacking targets. Oppression is a volcano waiting to erupt.

The Palestinians have the Legal Right to defend themselves from the Israeli OCUUPATION as it was the Jews Legal Right to defend themselves from the Nazis Aggression.

What's happening is that Netanyahu has decided to kill Palestinians and create a crisis in order for the far right parties to align with him to allow him to form a government and remain prime minister.

It's as simple and transparent as that.

Time for Biden to come out, man up and condemn the actions of this rogue demagogue.

You can't help but be saddened by the whole tragedy.

Israel is our closest ally

What? Not hardly. Australia, Canada and Britain are clearly at the top of the list.

If you'd like to restrict the list and not include those or Europe, then perhaps Israel would be in the top 5 remaining.

When Israeli citizens, regardless of religion or ethnicity, are unhappy, I'm going to listen carefully to their issues.

American Jews do not support Netanyahu who has failed to form a new government even after four elections with less than 33% of people voting for him. How much of this is to do with him who has a current court case for corruption. His wife already took a plea deal on the same charges.

Unless Netanyahu asked Hamas to fire rockets at Israel, this conclusion is just so wrong at all levels.

Hamas is a terrorist organization which has killed more Palestinians than Israel ever has. Evicting Arabs from East Jerusalem might not be correct, but to launch rockets knowing fully well they will kill civilians is a terrorist act and should be seen as such!!!

Since 1948 25,000 Jews have been killed. 90,000 Palestinians/Arabs killed.

As usual, the 'moral equivalence' brigade is out in force. There is nothing wrong with Israel defending itself against terrorism. Hamas has pledged to kill every Jew in Israel. I wonder how the world would react if Israel pledged to kill every Muslim in Israel....

Consider this- Arabs/Muslims in Israel enjoy more freedom than in any other country in the region. Same for women. Same for LGBT people. Same for Christians. Try being Christian or LGBT in any of the surrounding places. Good luck surviving the weekend.

Muslims make up nearly a fifth of the Israeli population, have representation in Parliament, and may just hold the key to the next government there. How do Jews fare in lands like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iran?

These are disputes that mature people can solve through negotiation and talking. Not through random use of terror weapons on neighboring civilians.

Israel is our closest ally

Who are you speaking on behalf of?

I can certainly speak with confidence when I say the murderous, land grabbing apartheid regime in Israel is not my ally.

Two state solution. Now.

History will judge Israel and not in a good light

A Hamas ruled Palestine is like a Taliban ruled Afghanistan.

Heretic: an "apartheid regime" that allows full citizenship and voting rights to Arabs? Come on, man.

Only one side in this conflict is urging their people to buy knives and decapitate the others, and it isn't Israel.

Exactly! This is the modern version of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising

I think History will judge the Jewish State quite well as the only democracy in the ME, it should do what it needs to do to root out the terrorist factions that will ultimately fail in trying to bring it to its knees, meanwhile the US once again like with Obama say nothing, that’s ok. Israel can definitely take care of these terrorist attacks on its on.

The world should be prepared to witness a more unwelcome and threatening scenario in Mideast as Israel is determined to stretch its strong military muscle further into Palestine.

A larger conflict after the 1967 and 1973 wars could well be already in the pipeline..

It is strange how we went from peace accords under the previous President to violent clashes under the current one.

It really isn't. The last administration sold them arms in exchange for a "peace treaty." Remember folks, Donald Trump is a brilliant marketer, but has no substance. Good job, Donald.

and Hamas was designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. in 1993 and this designation continued through Clinton and Obama's presidencies. Biden hasn't changed that designation either.

Israel was Trumps closest ally, not Americas. Trump did a great job of alienating Americas closest allies. I have Israeli friends just as I do Americans but I have little respect for how the countries behave on the international stage.

And? None of that changes the fact Donald Trump sold weapons to Israel and numerous other countries while signing a "peace accord." It wasn't a peace accord, it was a weapons sale, with the "peace accord" part of the payment.

SAY THEIR NAMES, SAY THEIR NAMES

SAY THEIR NAMES AND NOT THE LIES

At approximately 10:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a civilian car near Hamouda intersection, east of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip. As a result, four were killed in the car and another one was wounded. Those killed were identified as: Tal’at Jameel Mahmoud Aghah (34), ‘Atif ‘Abed al-Rahman Jum’a al-Barawi (47), Nael Khaled Yunis al-Barawi (22), abd Wael Fares Jaber al-Ghoul (55).

At approximately 11:00, Israeli warplanes fired 2 missiles at a barrack near ‘Izbet ‘Abed Rabu intersection, causing damage to a PRCS medical point established there, to the Shari’a Court and other houses near the targeted area.

Arab and Palestinian grievances predate Hamas. Israel demanded elections and Hamas came into power.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

And?

No matter who you want to point fingers at, none of it changes the fact that any of your favorite Presidents have not and will not cut ties with Israel and throw their full support behind a Hamas-led Palestine.

At approximately 10:15, Israeli warplanes launched a missile at a rickshaw in al-Fokhari area, east of Khan Younis. As a result, two were wounded, including a child who sustained moderate wounds.

At approximately 10:30, IOF stationed along the border fence with Israel opened fire at farmers in eastern Khuza’ah, east of Khan Younis. As a result, Bashar Ahmed Ibrahim Sammour (16) was killed.

PCHR renews its warning that civilians are the side paying the price during the escalation and emphasized that IOF’s ongoing strikes on residential populated areas and the use of weapons on the basis of collective retaliation constitute grave breaches of the four Geneva Conventions of 1949 that amount to war crimes

Hamas-led Palestine.

lol Nice strawman there. Where did I say anything about a Hamas-led Palestine? I just want Israel to stop murdering kids. I just want Israel to stop taking peoples' land. Is that unreasonable?

It can't happen until your elected officials, which includes POTUS in both parties, do anything about it like cut ties with Israel or sanction them. That will never happen until you vote in AOC as President.

SAY THEIR NAMES, SAY THEIR NAMES

How about the names of the Israelis killed by Hamas rockets? Apparently an Indian woman was also killed by the Hamas barrage?

I definitely with that.

Israel is an apartheid state, as has been confirmed by external human rights organizations. The current government is racist. The millions of Israelis who oppose the horrors that are being done in their name are true heroes, and should be celebrated. Palestine must be recognized as a state. Its people must be given their rights.
