In Japan fruits are too expensive. Consumables that have nice fruit pictures with fake fruits. Your body craves fruits but cant afford. That's why so many products are fruit flavored. They need to hurry up and speed up TPP plan for agriculture products in Japan.

Toyota made mistake of investing billions into Hydrogen. Had all their eggs in one basket. Now playing catch up in EV market. It was so bad that they released all the patents related to their Hydrogen R&D for free. Hoping that market would catch on in last ditch attempt. Was a total failure. Solid state batteries and EV paved the way for the future. Tesla a junior in a traditionally dominated industry has double in market value size, compared to Toyota in a decade. Digitization has brought the convergence of different industry. The market disruption that is gonna come from countries that have advanced in and understanding this. Japan well... youll see.

Just think when you put Gaijin under the microscope this is what you find. I can only imagine the scale of corruption in JCORP which we have no visibility or able to see. Only reason this came to light is because his colleagues fed him to the sharks.

Its how the world works, no matter the country! Reality is not ideals and what we think is right. People have hard time understanding reality and seeing for what it really is. Which is ugly! if you can see that. you will find that you start to understand how the world really works and will make you a better decision maker and investor.

CO2 Economy is like communism; it should work in theory if administer properly. But corruption and politics prevail that eventually makes it to become a tax grab. People in developed worlds dont realize that with all the taxes, hidden taxes, stealth taxes, and taxes on taxes; that you have less than 50% for every dollar you earn. Most of hardship in life is caused by the governments we serve.

Japan doesnt has many factors that does not create a breeding ground for innovative technology as electric vehicles. The country has missed the digital revolution and already puts them behind almost every country in the world, including developing countries. It also has the factor of natural disasters that requires infrastructure that can sustain a society in times of no electricity. Finally, the nail in the coffin is its power grid. Europe and North America have integrative power grids allow the transfer of power from one region to the next. When one is raining but needs power. when sunlight is available but still dark, or in times of disaster areas to transfer power to another area. Japan has two grids; Kansai and Tohoku that are not interconnected and hence the blackouts during 3/11 when Kansai had excess power. Japan has deep rooted problems it needs to fix before it can implement electric vehicles. But like many of its industries, Japan is set to fail for next 30-40 years. The train has passed.

I wish Japan had better programs and education for single mothers and mental health. Need to target Junior high as they do in North America. A mother killing its own child is not in healthy state of mind and very sad to see.

The caliber of Japanese Executive Decision Making. "Push decision making onto someone else as I don't want the responsibility." The same that we see in the COVID situation, indecisiveness and just plain lost. I think Japan will continue to suffer 30 to 40 years into the future with such management.

And the Japanese Government keeps bailing them out. Tax payers subsidize the company for losses and bad decisions and then the company payoffs dividends in a good year. win-win either way for TEPCO. Cronies working together! another day in JCORP. The only problem that management is facing is that TEPCO issues are going beyond Japan and becoming global issues.

Japanese Seniors that aged in Bubble Era are giant babies that are ill mannered. They have sense of entitlement and superiority over others. Unfortunately unlike the North America, Japan doesnt really have mechanism to correct bad behavior. Everything is just supposed to work. Attarimai... But no in Japan it is very hard to sue which can also be bad thing. balance is needed. Not too much and Not too little.

I think with SARS, MERS, COVID. The cause of problem comes from one country. Focusing on vaccine is not root of true problem. Until we get to cause and why it keeps happening, you will never solve anything. Vaccine is just band-aid.

Monitor? you just need to get rid of them. Simple and straight. Instead, we will lock him up for life. which costs $60,000 USD - $90,000 USD annually. And we can figure out why schools and public programs are badly funded. Get rid of prison–industrial complex! there is no real justice in jail. The Masses believe its humane and ethically right but its just a system that governments and large corporations make money. Waste of resources and waste of innocent lives. Victims matter more than criminals. Something this generation has lost.

Chinese influence is not all bad. I seen poor countries that have suffered for centuries with NGOs and UN pretending to make changes in these countries. China comes in and builds roads, electric lines, hospitals, and ports. Yes, they line Chinese pockets but better than anyone else has done till now. Now they can transport goods without worry of dirt roads being washed away during rains and all the basic amenities in these countries. I have seen first hand that its not all bad. Although all these infrastructure is building the new silk road.
