The Japanese Government should provide an Unconditional Universal Basic Income of at least 5450750 yen (equivalent of $50,000 United States Dollars) to all of its citizens. Further, the amount should always be adjusted for inflation. If an Unconditional Universal Basic Income went into effect, it would enable anyone who ever falls on difficult times to have a cushion. The Unconditional Universal Basic Income would be the equivalent of throwing someone who is struggling to swim a life jacket. The Unconditional Universal Basic Income should also begin in neighboring countries like Taiwan, Mainland China and so forth and maybe even become a Worldwide Cushion/Life Jacket for everybody.

It is time to get rid of this whole nonsense with classes. There should be no Upper, Middle and Lower Class. Society would function much better as a Classless society. Everybody and Everything should be all equal. It would work much better if wealth and other necessities were distributed evenly. No one should ever be denied food, shelter, water, money and fun. No-one should have more than anyone else as everybody's needs are equally important. No one is special and/or better than anyone else. We are all human and live and breath in the same World. Governments should make sure that everyone's needs are being met and as a result, Universal Basic Income for Eternity would be a milestone and also a cornerstone for making sure everybody's needs are being met.

This is really infuriating how we have individuals who live a lavish lifestyle by owning multiple mansions in various cities/countries, multiple luxurious vehicles, buying designer goods that are necessary and then we have individuals who cannot afford a room. It is time to get rid of indulgence and learn to live with less. Why does someone need multiple gigantic mansions???? Why can't they just be satisfied with a basic/ordinary home????? Rather than having extreme wealth and extreme poverty, it is much better if everyone had their fair share instead so everyone can live a high quality life. Universal Basic Income for Eternity would at least allow for everyone to have the basic necessities and have fun, not be denied any chances in life whether it be professionally or personally. Basic Income would also ensure no one ever gets rejected socially.

In conclusion, if Unconditional Universal Basic Income went into effect for eternity, everyone would be able to sleep better at night, have less stress and therefore have a better quality of life.

It is a shock that this kind of thing could ever occur anywhere in Japan. Whether one is in Tokyo, Osaka, all the way up North in Wakkanai, Hokkaido or down South in Naha, Okinawa, my understanding is that Japan is extremely safe and safety regarding street crime is top notch!?!? It is understood that Japan is one of the safest countries in the world along with other neighboring countries such as South Korea and Taiwan. An ABSOLUTE SHOCK!!

Employed or not, crime is never justified, but out of curiosity, if the suspect has a job, why does he need to rob someone????????????

"Kono had previously voiced concern that requiring certification of vaccination could lead to discrimination against people unable or unwilling to receive shots due to potential allergic reactions or side effects.

To allay such worries, the passports will also list negative results from polymerase chain reaction and antigen tests, the sources said."

General Question:

When everything returns to normal, if someone wants to vacation in Japan for one to two weeks , will they be REQUIRED to get this Covid Vaccine?? In other words, does this mean that someone who does not get this Covid Vaccine is going to be banned for eternity from visiting Japan (as well as other Countries in the Far East such as Mainland China or Taiwan)?? I need absolute clarification on this.

Thank you very much.

Interesting. Every prefecture has its own unique qualities. Out of curiosity, what about Okinawa?

With the most significant drawback being that the mass transit is not the same like Tokyo for instance, I would think Okinawa offers many excellent, fantastic, outstanding, awesome, Kool features. Highest availability of Beach weather throughout the year, Beach Atmosphere, Being by the Seaside, cost of living is less than most areas, laid back culture, one of the most unique areas of Japan, many choices whether someone wants to live in Naha City, Okinawa City, Itoman, etc, my understanding is that Okinawa has many video arcade venues, and also relatively close to Taiwan if someone wants to take a short weekend or even a long vacation to Taiwan (I understand Taiwan is also a excellent country like Japan).

Interesting how being a Baker Shop owner is a popular ambition in Japan. I observed that bakeries and/or small pastry shops/cake shops are extremely popular in Japan. For instance, those crepe meals with all different flavors/toppings are extremely delicious (sugoku oishii desu). Also, being a bake shop owner is an excellent ambition (just make sure not to eat the profits).

Feel sorry for these women who are victims as no one deserves such treatment. Further, the Far East/East Asia whether it is China, Korea, Taiwan or Japan is an excellent region in many different categories from A to Z. Why would anyone want to emigrate to a Western Country from the Far East. While no where is perfect, The Far East/East Asia is one of the best if not the best region(s) in the world to call home due to many reasons especially lower crime than the West.

I hope this is temporary and not permanent. What if someone wants to visit Japan for there week vacation in 2021????? I guess they cannot?.?.?

It is more obvious day by day that this “COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS”is a fraud/hoax that was orchestrated by various world governments, corporations and pharmaceutical companies including but not limited to the following reasons:

A. Fear Mongering;

B. Loss of Privacy;

C. Getting everyone comfortable with draconian measures

D. Normalizing massive and unemployment;

E. Money Making Scheme ( various world governments, corporations and pharmaceutical companies must be making a fortune from these vaccines).

What is dangerous is the following:

A. Losing Ones Job;

B. Losing Ones Livelihood;

C. Extreme Hysteria;

D. Communal Hostility;

E. Extreme Isolation;

F. Losing Hope;

G. Losing Soul;

H. Losing Freedoms;

I. Loss of community friendliness; and

J. Mental Health Stress.

This whole situation has caused the above factors. We should not have to feel lucky to have a job or those other things.

This is terrible the majority do not realize the consequences of this situation and what is being taken away.

Many are losing their businesses (for instance it is sad that landmark video arcade in Akihabara is out of business)

many are losing their jobs or having a reduced work schedule;

Freedoms are on thin ice (since when it is the government or our employers business as to where someone goes or what someone does on their leisure time??????!!!!!!!!) (since when is it okay to be hostile to someone for questioning anything or disagreeing?????!!!!!!!!)

Doctors/media: 'The science is settled; Cigarettes are great for your health!'

Conspiracy theorists: 'Beware everyone, Cigarettes are causing cancer!'

Agree. Extremely interesting how when everything is improving suddenly there is a new kind of virus.....Suddenly a new variant.  In every country worldwide on a daily basis it is becoming more and more obvious that this COVID-19 was man made or a fraud/hoax which was orchestrated by various world governments to cause fear mongering, control citizens, make citizens live in fear and to take away freedoms and our souls. This COVID-19 also seems like a money making scheme. Various individuals including but not limited to various world governments, pharmaceutical companies and other high stakes players are making a fortune out of this whole “COVID-19 “ and now this Vaccine. Just like various Wars in history someone is making a fortune.

This is extremely sad because many are losing their businesses, jobs and now many if not all cannot see family.

Someone says limit your business hours or shut down your business, do not leave your home, you have to disclose extremely sensitive information like medical records and/or l you have to disclose your travel destinations the answer would be no and these are extremely invasive measures. All someone has to say is “COVID-19” as well as utilizing other fear mongering strategies and then everyone complies.             This is extremely interesting how with COVID-19 the numbers are high then when individuals restrict themselves the numbers go down. Now when the situation improves and everyone goes back to living their regular lives suddenly the COVID-19 numbers go back up. Extremely interesting. It is also extremely interesting how this “COVID-19 “ is also in North Korea and Antarctica. What is dangerous is the following:

A. Losing Ones Job;

B. Losing Ones Livelihood;

C. Extreme Hysteria;

D. Communal Hostility;

E. Extreme Isolation;

F. Losing Hope;

Does not make sense. 17 years does not get justice. Eighty (“80”) years to one hundred (“100”) years in solitary confinement with no chance of parole or alternatively the death penalty such as the firing squad or being crucified would be the right consequence. We need to discontinue feeling sorry for the criminals and lobby for the victims. Forget the criminals’ rights how about the victims’ rights??? This man should not have any rights as he is just garbage. I am sure my post is going to be removed because too many feel sorry for the criminal and could care less about the victim.

It is time for All the United States of America Military from A to Z to leave Okinawa (and the rest of Japan) for eternity. The United States of America Military is of NO BENEFIT to Japan and more of a hazard. Aside from what is discussed in this article, the United States of America is placing Japan especially Okinawa at risk by having stations in Japan because if any other country has an issue with the United States of America, they are bringing Japan especially Okinawa into the equation. As a result, Japan especially Okinawa needs to be distant from the United States of America military.

It would allow for safer conditions and a better quality of life especially in Okinawa. I understand Okinawa is a beautiful area to live and visit. Nevertheless, Japan especially the beautiful prefecture of Okinawa would have off the charts improvement of quality of life with the United States Military being gone for eternity.

As a result, for Japan especially Okinawa to have a significant improvement of the quality of life, All the United States of America Military from A to Z to need to vacate Okinawa (and the rest of Japan) for eternity immediately.

The goal is not war, the goal is Universal Tranquility.

Something needs to change so Japan can be as safe as Singapore, Korea, Mainland China, and Taiwan and go back to the way it is as the Edo era and/or the Japan of the 1970s and 1980s.

Are you claiming that Singapore, Korea, Mainland China, and Taiwan safer than Japan? Any figures to back that up? (And discount whatever the mainland China CCP government says, please).

Yes, I am.

I feel like nothing like this or this article:https://www.tokyoreporter.com/crime/tokyo-man-stabbed-woman-with-awl-at-100-store/

ever occurs in Singapore, Korea, Mainland China or Taiwan. Do tourists need to be concerned????!!!!!!

I am not speaking of something such as stealing a candy bar from a convenience store or a personal argument. It is NOT an insult to Japan as it is a beautiful country. It is just that something has to change to stop these sadistic incidents because for some reason they occur in Japan and NEVER in Singapore, Korea, Mainland China or Taiwan.

I thought Japan is a safe country just like Singapore, Korea, Mainland China, and Taiwan and nobody regardless of gender has to worry about being a victim of violent crime. I feel violent crime of this sort was unheard of in Japan until this last decade and unheard of in the other four East Asia countries. What happened to the Japan especially the Japan of the 1970s, 1980s and the Edo era where something like this never occurred??????

I am curious where in Japan all the way from Wakkanai, Hokkaid, Japan to Naha, Okinawa, Japan is the absolute least expensive rent. Least expensive meaning meaning 42,718.00 Japanese Yen a month or less.

I am going to make an educated guess maybe in the following areas:

Akita City, Akita, Japan and other areas in Akita Prefecture.

Aomori City, Aomori Japan other areas in Aomori Prefecture.

Wakkanai, Hokkaido, Japan and the surrounding areas near that are a fifty mile radius of Wakkanai, Hokkaido, Japan.

Naha, Okinawa and others areas in Okinawa such as Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan and Itoman, Okinawa, Japan and other areas in the main island in Okinawa Prefecture.

It would also assist if the Japanese Government gave everyone a basic income of 5,338,950.00 Japanese Yen annually for eternity this way no one will ever have to worry about being able to remit their rent and as a result everyone will live a high quality life with zero financial worries. Everyone is oils be able to sleep better, feel more relaxed and have way less anxiety. As a result, the a Basic Income of 5,338,950.00 Japanese Yen annually should take effect immediately with no barriers, red tape or questions asked. We live in a time where a basic income of 5,338,950.00 Japanese Yen is a necessity thereby it should be an entitlement. Having a Universal Basic Income of 5,338,950.00 would foster law and order and stability thereby having a society that is full of tranquility.

Political stances aside, @baroque1888, it’s evident you are concerned about society.

Here, there are laws prohibiting crimes, but most are worded ambiguously. Therefore*, the **enforcement is ‘inconsistent’,*** *the prosecution is ‘selective’ and the punishments are ‘varied’; sometimes, ‘minimal’. ***

The laws in place and threat of punishment are a small deterrent, if any, to most criminals committing random or, calculated acts against others .

This crime was not random. It was another case of ‘inter-family violence’, present in Every culture.

Often, we’ve noticed, You recommend “60 years!”. Not sure if that is in the ‘sentencing guidelines’.

The laws should be edited to harsh so this way violent crime goes to NIL. It is time for a radical change. 60 years is unfortunately not in the books but it should be in the books in order to protect victims and to deter criminals from committing violent acts.

Of course the extreme liberals would have an issue with tough laws because for some reason the extreme liberals care more about the criminals than the innocent victims.

It is really sad that a traffic altercation had to lead to this sort of violence. For crying out loud it is a traffic misunderstanding. Someone’s life is more valuable than this. It is ridiculous that violence has to be the answer to this misunderstanding. Hopefully the victim will recover. The suspect should be sentenced to sixty (“60”) years in prison to discourage violence and so we can have universal tranquility.

For protection/safety reasons, if there is any kind of traffic incident, misunderstanding, etc, always telephone the cops before talking to another driver so this way it will be safer. For instance, even if there is a minor fender bender, telephone the cops and wait for the cops to arrive before engaging the other person. If another driver approaches you, stay in the vehicle to wait for the the cops so you have protection. The issue is that the other person is a complete stranger and no one knows who they are. At least with a cop around supervising, we know there is protection.
