So 1 member has tested positive after being on a long haul flight, surely the others must also start to show positive results in coming days , or is it all going to be hushed up, or swept under the carpet or this comment deleted for being racist, offensive & vulgar , or insensitive , off topic again?

Screw the olympics importing thousands of variants of this not deadly virus and making us all pay for it.

I refuse to take the vacation.

2 Year Old June 15 06:24 pm JST

Go home!

I hope people in Tokyo start outing these Olympic bigwigs when they see them at restaurants and shops etc.

To show that all their talk of a quarantine bubble was only for the athletes… not the 70,000+ others arriving.

I can’t imagine him or any other official eating room service only, and staying in their room except when needed from now until the end of the Olympics.

Absolutely agree, make these entitled ones feel uncomfortable as possible about them selves, their decision to come, compete , participate and the situation, make them feel self-conscious and uncomfortable, they dont deserve to be enjoying themselves.

It is ridiculous , why not open things up properly, if the airport is allowing in the athletes and officials why can't the locals go about their daily lives having a meal and a drink while enjoying the summer evening?

After all, the IOC and govt officials will be , you can bet those guys wont be locked up in their hotel rooms by 8pm every night , they will be out wining and dining striking up new deals and stuffing envelopes in each others pockets while greasing each others ego's up.

Tokyo is already swarmimg with olympic types taking in the scenes, sights and culture, easy to spot them all over town.

No need for this woman or others like her to worry too much about the CO2 emissions and the climate control problem, people like jacinda adern have it well in hand in NZ, the country with the smallest carbon footprint being hit the hardest with its new legislation on vehicles and carbon neutral schemes, the world will be safe ...

Instead of people banging on about the 6th worst producer how about they get on THE worst top 3 producers and then once they have sorted them out we maybe ok.

By the way I do not have any guilt about living producing a carbon footprint Kimiko Hirata

Its typical garbage that you are supposed to be swallowing so you comply and keep following the party line.

Govts all over the world are corrupt and they pushing a greater agenda on the masses in cohoots with their fellow friends who also sit at the top of govt in other countries and push their agenda on the masses. Here is prove they are nothing more than a big organized gang making them selves legal by passing draconian laws on the masses who they rule over.

Flying around the world in their state funded private jets making up lies & laws to tell us how we all should live, yeah right while giving away our tax money and pocketing what they cant squander!!!

Applied twice and still denied. The bean counter or counters in charged must have personal problem with these minorities. Now the tax payer is face with a damage bill plus back payments because this bean counter is a racist. Sack the bean counter who denied both applications and settle out of court with this victim of racism.

The guy at city hall is a racist going on the logic of this comment about the gay couple being denied benefits?

Guess that's left wing liberal logic for ya right there lol.

Nice to know how the commenters think and are not ashamed to show how clever they really are....
