Accidents happen. It’s not a news story, really.

Yokohama is that city everyone says is wonderful. Yet rarely goes. I like that

My gut feeling is she is a fraud on this. But she’s young, and a fine tennis player. I think she will learn from this, or has already. The whole world is suffering. She needs to I understand, and perhaps does now, that people don’t like to hear anyone whining, especially the richest woman athlete in the world currently

In a perfect world Putin would offer Japan two islands. That would be a happy ending.

sick and tired of having strict rules enforced on my life for the benefit of others. You’re damn right it’s selfish , but it’s been a year and a half now, enough is enough.

Taro’s looking spiffy in that suit and in good health. He’s there to strengthen Japan-UK relations aside from his G7 duties, and I personally think this is a very good thing.

It is nice to see the UK and Japan strengthening bonds. First, a new trade deal, and now, entry into this exclusive pact.

Totally. And they should be glad they’re not stuck here with an overriding soul sucking anti-Olympic anti-fun serious mask face stance that is never ending and unbearable to be around

china is a hellhole, and australia government making their country one with over reach. so glad to live in Japan, but not Tokyo, which is also a law ridden state, you can’t sit, smoke, eat anywhere without someone nosing you up

No one likes a smart Alec, but to think of all the continuous anti-Olympic sentiment on here...perhaps this is when people finally accept that it’s going to happen, and that it will be carried out safely, and we can try and enjoy Summer.

And why wouldn’t it? it’s no secret to anyone now that the media often censor opinion that is not in line with their own beliefs. You only have to look at the surprise shocks of Trump and Brexit to acknowledge that. And so, who is to say, contrary to the anti Olympic polls, that there isn ‘t a silent majority of people in Japan and all over the world who are quite looking forward to the Olympics ? Word of advice: don’t believe everything you read in the papers., and here’s to a safe Olympics!

Open bars and restaurants, open flights, hold the Olympics. Tired of my fellow human race timidly walking around trying to avoid a virus, and holding everybody else back whilst they do it. I’m well aware it can be a nasty bug for some, so If you don’t like it, stay home! Your choice

All the Olympic hate now, I feel, is some people trying to change Japan from the inside at an opportunistic moment and I stand against that.
we can hold the Olympics safely ,
