There is not yet enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Juneteenth, recalling end of slavery, marked across U.S.

knowing your history is important. In the US at least, black slaves were not allowed access to information and education. So how about modern slavery? Hasn’t Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter all banned certain information that helps us educate ourselves? Information about the origins of the Covid-19 was banned and labeled a “conspiracy theory” by Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Information from well established and educated scientists and doctors about Ivermectin was banned on Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. YouTube even removed a congressional hearing on CSPAN. Is this not slavery?

Juneteenth, recalling end of slavery, marked across U.S.

Knowing your history is important. Letting a new national holiday stop you from saving lives, idiocracy.

The CDC has postponed their emergency meeting on post-vaccination heart inflammation which was seen in mostly young people, because of a new federal holiday.

Posted in: China denounces NATO statement; defends defense policy See in context

Probably because One Belt, One Road ends in Europe. Find out what has been going on with the Greek port of Piraeus Greece and Budapest. Read about the Chinese research station in Kiruna Sweden where the Swedish military argues the station's monitoring capabilities could be used for military purposes. The Chinese have similar stations in Svlabard Norway, Iceland, Greenland and Finland. Ostensibly built for "scientific research" their monitoring capabilities are a significant military capability that has Norway, the US and Sweden worried. Plus China operates two icebreakers in the Arctic, claiming to be a "Artic nation" even as the have no territory north of the Arctic Circle or bordering the Arctic Ocean. So China is already in Europe. Tell us a nice bedtime story why the Chinese presence in NATO nations is ok but NATO cannot have any concerns regarding China?

Ridiculous.

“China is already in Europe”? Why wouldn’t they be?

Wait, I’m not clear about something. Is it safe to say that you support NATO’s new mission?

Section 55 begins as follows: "China's stated ambitions and assertive behavior present systemic challenges to the rules-based international order and to areas relevant to Alliance security. We are concerned by those coercive policies which stand in contrast to the fundamental values enshrined in the Washington Treaty."

You listed off a bunch of, dare I say it, conspiracy theory stuff. I’m no fan of the Chinese government, but I stop short of warmongering them. I don’t trust NATO and China equally. Again, it’s funny how easily the “other side” loves their war machine when one of their own is wishing for a casus belli.

China's position is, "Peace through everyone accepting our demands and encroachment without response."

Yeah, that could easily flipped.

NATO’s position is, "Peace through everyone accepting our demands and encroachment without response."

It’s funny how some international news slides on and off the radar with a President change:

Millions of weapons sales to Ukraine - off the radar

Reports of an incompetent and senile president - off the radar

acceptance of fake news (Belarus) - off the radar

Questioning why is NATO even involved in anything outside of Eastern Europe and West Asia - off the radar.

This isn’t in the article above. It’s from NATO’s new “How to create chaos in the world” report. NATO? Weren’t they supposed to stay around Eastern Europe only. Not anymore. Not with Joey and his lovely liberals running the show. If these warmongers are so concerned about China why not first stop doing business with them? Nope. Too logical and too many corporate puppet masters holding the strings.

Posted in: Biden to return diverted border wall money See in context

Trump did fail in his promise to build a wall

Privately, the president had often talked about fortifying a border wall with a water-filled trench, stocked with snakes or alligators

(news source)

He also failed to deliver the snakes and alligators to keep the illegals out. That might work effectively against ladders since if the illegals tried to use a ladders they would have to put that ladder in the trench and the alligators would snap at them, thus preventing the usage of ladders. That's Trump's failure.

If that’s all you got that’s a whopping failure. Time to move on. Trumps gone.

I hope not. Harris just told Guatemalans Do Not Come.

LOL

Press op really. It’s like planning a months long fishing trip and the some strange lady from the US shouts into a mic and says, “you should cancel your trip”. what a joke. The US has multiple times since the 1960’s to tried to support the central and south America’s usually with cash, sometimes covertly and with violence. The cash was usually stolen by the corrupt gang of leadership. But then Joey comes along making a whole new slew of promises and, the left with their lack of convictions due to historical ignorance, especially about the south and the border, choose the worst leader out of the bunch. Nobody should expect much out of Joey’s gang. They’re just bag of old and stinky broken eggs, trying to sell themselves as farm fresh.

“The police have a role but their role is simply to solve crime — their role is not to prevent crime, their role is not to intervene in other community activities,”

That is some of the best Double Speak I've seen in a while. Tops even Biden and Harris. She should run for President.

“The police have a role but their role is simply to solve crime — their role is not to prevent crime" - True, but they're also there to protect the public and streets, and to do that you have to be proactive and assertive. Many police these days are too aggressive, which causes the knee-jerk reaction to defund.

"their role is not to intervene in other community activities,” - Just what does she mean by "community activities,”? A bake sale? A crack sale?

Ha! Free Market? Wrong. Bezos is a lobbyist, tax money is his friend.

Amazon

Congress’ new Covid-19 stimulus package has no additional funds for state and local governments, according to Forbes’ Sarah Hansen, even though the pandemic is causing them major revenue problems.  But while their budgets are squeezed, a new report from watchdog Good Jobs First (GJF) finds they’ve collectively given Amazon AMZN +2.1% over $3.7 billion in taxpayer subsidies.  This is especially galling at a time when Amazon just announced a 37% increase in year-over-year sales.

Blue Origin

In recent years, Blue Origin also has given its operation in the nation’s capital more muscle. It spent nearly $2 million in lobbying last year, up from a little more than $400,000 in 2015, according to OpenSecrets.org, which tracks spending. The company’s political action committee has amped up its donations as well, spending $320,000 in 2020, up from $22,000 in 2016.

The amendment quickly became another point of contention. SpaceX struck first: “The Cantwell Amendment undermines the federal government procurement process, rewards Jeff Bezos with a $10 billion sole-source hand-out, and will throw NASA’s Artemis program into years of litigation,” its flier said.

The flier noted that Blue Origin had received hundreds of millions of dollars in awards from NASA and the Pentagon for preliminary contracts but that the government “has chosen not to proceed with Blue Origin after every major development contract.”

Bezos’s company “has not produced a single rocket or spacecraft capable of reaching orbit,” SpaceX said. That was a point Musk amplified on Twitter, saying the company “can’t get it up (to orbit).”

To: Some dude

As a non-American, I find their attitude towards Bezos quite interesting.

American people: “America is the country where anyone can make it if they have the willpower, talent, etc.”

Jeff Bezos (becomes unfathomably rich by legal means)

American people: “Jeff Bezos is an evil capitalist! Tax the rich!”

Evil? No.

Slimy lobbyist taking tax money to power his business and space projects while promoting himself through his Washington Post connections with prices like this? Yes.

Also, we’d much rather have “evil capitalists” than socialist/communist/globalist dictators, like the EU. But Bezos is no capitalist, just a very good lobbyist.

The incident involved US military who, mistakenly, stormed vegetable oil production workshop during a NATO military exercise.
