You will never read such a headline, because it is not fear mongering.

Do yourself a favor and actually find a way to get a job for a week or so in a hospital that is taking care of Covid patients...maybe you will learn something. I'm sure you'll find a way not to, but maybe.

Burning Bush

And basically everybody is doing just fine.

Many of us already got Covid but didn’t even notice.

It’s a pandemic of positives but not of serious illness.

This is the process by which the Olympics get canceled and everyone saves face, but the public doesn't get their money back.

First the politicians will show a unified "The Olympics will go on. There are no discussions regarding cancelling the Olympics."

Then, one or two politicians or J-IOC members will make a generally rebuffed "gaffe" that other options should be examined.

Followed, by the higher ups stating that the possibility of cancellation is being discussed, regrettably.

Lastly, Koike states "due to the circumstances, regrettably..."

Wow, you have fallen this far. To compare Trump rallies as a measure of his success as a President and as a human being.

Hopefully, Biden's inauguration is low key and boring as hell. I hope the next 4, 8, 12 years are as boring as hell, free of scandals and race baiting that so dominated the past 4 years.

The voters spoke and 7 million more said enough with the Idiocracy rallies, it is time for the petulant child to go down for his nap.

Burning Bush

Trump's rallies at stadiums are cheerful, peaceful and cordial. Everybody basically cheers and has a good time.

The only security needed are the guys that keep adoring fans at a safe distance from the podium.

Meanwhile, Biden's inauguration will have to be a fortress.

Which leader is truly more popular?

All of Trump's concession speeches were followed with statements that the election was stolen. So, he does nothing to defuse the situation, and in fact, keeps throwing more gasoline onto it. His Tweet prior to the January 6th EC certification was "'Be There. Will Be Wild!':". This was intentional in order to get the base riled up and we all know what happened as a result of this.

NOMINATION

He already conceded and said he would have a smooth transition of power. Why do you choose to ignore this? He also condemned the riots and he called the National Guard. You hate him that you only choose to comment negativity I guess and ignore evidence.

Systematic oppression and extrajudicial execution by police upon minorities vs. "My politician didn't win the election...wah wah wah". The two are not comparable.

Many years of gaslighting have culminated in this. Trump needs to tell his supporters to leave the area. There is no way to defend the attack on the Capitol unless you are seeking an authoritarian America.

Not sure where you are getting this "Don't worry it's just a joke, don't worry about it" take on it. You've been proven wrong and a major proponent of false information here and elsewhere before. Even so, what you state is not true of all the people who have attached themselves to QAnon.

Just pointing out that these QAnon folks are just screwing around and getting the media to take them seriously. It is just like the last election because the media has taken similar claims from two elections in a row seriously. I doubt the media will push these claims to Biden’s impeachment though.

J-QAnon basing its foundation on maintaining a racial status quo....not a good look.

Yasushi Watanabe said that Trump looks dependable to some people in Japan at a time "when the notion of Japanese being homogeneous is no longer shared and the term jokyu kokumin (privileged citizens) has come into existence as a target of hatred."

Whom do you support now with regards to the $2000 payment? Trump? The GOP? Democrats?

Are you in favor of socialism for the masses, when massive government hand-outs have been usually reserved for the larger corporations, banks or Wall Street?

If (Because) extensive regulatory review is required for a vaccine or any medicine to receive the ok for use, patent term extensions are possible (usually 5 years, but can vary). So the patent can last 25 years (20 + the 5 year PTE) from the initial filing date of the application (this can also vary among countries but I believe is the same regardless of the filing route).

Virusrex

vaccines patents last only 10 years, and any competent company has to register as soon as the technology to produce it is developed (before the pre-clinical trials), if this were true nobody would make any new vaccine, since by the time billions of dollars were invested in the clinical trials anybody could make it without paying anything.
