Put yourself in the same situation: your PRC tests were negative, you go though a stringently observed 3-day quarantine period on arrival, then you are moved you to some ratty accomodations for the remainder of the quarantine and told to stay put. You abide by the rules for the first couple of days and show zero signs of any infection. Finally, you decide that a walk outside to get some fresh air, alone and away from any people, would be perfectly fine.

Don't know about some of the folks here, but I'd do the same.

Russia will protect the ethnic Russians in Donbass from ethnic cleansing, period. The troops that will support this humanitarian effort are within the borders of Russia. This is not a reason for NATO involvement.

Posted in: Ukraine calls for path into NATO after Russia masses troops See in context

Where is the U.S. massing it's troops, proxies (NATO, et al.) and weapons of war? 70,000 personnel are permanently assigned to U.S. European Command. The U.S. has over 4500 troops in Poland (bordering Ukraine), 500 soldiers in Pabradė, Lithuania and more in the works for military collaboration in the Baltics. But Russia stations its troops within its on territory and they're the provocative ones?

Awesome. Putin is really the only viable leader for Russia who won't sell out to U.S. imperialism. A loss of Putin would mean a retrogression to the embarrassing Yeltsin years of servile capitulation to the U.S. kleptocracy.
