Prefer the R 35. Godzilla indeed. with a hint of Transformer. I owned number 99 off the line.

She was probably attracted to their builder's bums. Indeed the poor woman was set up badly by 2 chinpira.

I was being sarcastic but got upvoted. If we have learned anything it is that lockdowns are not that effective. Disease is by now endemic and so nothing we do will eradicate it (or even really affect the spread). but anyway, lets keep doing the same stuff over and over again. 4th wave my a**

Bit of a drivelly article. Nice to see so many people with so little of consequence to say wrote books based on a TV show.

Suntory should bottle it and come up with some hooky sales pitch.

Posted in: Japan has entered 4th wave of COVID-19 infections, says gov't panel chief See in context

I bet we end up with tenth wave and more in the coming months and years. These are not waves - this is an endemic disease by now - but likely mutant viruses or small changes in infection rates. If we cannot stop with the disaster language and treating this like the black death, we will never get back to some semblance of normal life and economic activity and public calm.

NISMO version way too expensive. Top end non-NISMO version almost as good and half the price. I still love the GTR looks - I owned one once upon a time - but agree it is getting dated now.

The advent of SPACS and the valuation on this offer feel to me like froth. How much longer the tsunami of easy money can keep the bubble inflated remains to be seen. but would rather be out than in at this stage.

Posted in: J&J vaccine delay over blood clot fears deals blow to global immunization drive See in context

All of these issues with the vaccines are a result of Operation Warp speed.

not sure these vaccines have proven to be any more problematic than many others that have taken years to develop. Look at the furore over the MMR. Or adverse reactions that happened at the beginning of the polio vaccination programme. We have just gotten so hysterical about everything Covid that each little thing is being blown out of all proportion to the actual data.

Posted in: Will Smith slavery film 'Emancipation' ditches Georgia over voting law See in context

I don't get this. Virginia just voted for Biden and voted in 2 Democrat senators. And now they are miffed that this bill requires some form of voter id. Like you need to buy booze. Or get on a plane. or so many other things in daily life. Seems to me if getting id is so hard they should focus on helping those that they think are unable to do so themselves rather than railing against what seem to be pretty sensible precautions against false id etc.

More Covid related hysteria. 1 in a million chance of adverse reaction (at least if you believe the reported numbers) and ongoing statements about continued restrictions and social engineering despite vaccine rollout. I fear that this is never going to be over.
