If you plan to buy a house in Japan anytime from now, then prepare yourself to be surrounded by tens of millions of pensioners and no one to support that pension fund. You won't enjoy house parties and have to slave till the day you drop dead.

With crappy salaries,it is a nightmare.

Many of my gaijin friends who have kids here are stuck.

Almost everyone of them I speak to looks to be in a desperate situation.

The Japanese nationals have their parents around who help out.

This decision was was only a question of when and not if.

Japan has been very slow because they wanted to be given rights to manufacture"Package" it in Japan.

Now gaijin and business people who had hopes of flying out soon will have to wait muuuucchh longer.

From the way it seems,we might not get out this year too after suffering last year due to the lockdowns.

Brace for more bad news.

Meanwhile, people are dying. Why not just waive the rights so that each country can manufacture their own generics and get over with the pandemic?

This whole vaccination issue is has officially become too political.

If you are my ally, you get my vaccine.

Meanwhile, some "developed"countries have paid in advance to get almost all the vaccines including extra doses in disregard of the rest of the other countries yet they are not even the manufacturers. This is a clear manifestation of selfishness.

If this pandemic is not handled equally globally,it will haunt humanity for a very long time.

This will be a lesson, who are your friends.

Jeff Lee,Japan is only developed in some sectors eg vehicle manufacturing.

Most people live from hand to mouth, doing baito and hakken.Nothing to save. Most have to do zangyo to survive. In that sense majority of the Japanese populace already live like third world or even worse when you factor in cost of living.

@ Gary,The only reason they are brought into this island is,

1.To fill in the gaps left by the younger

Japanese who go for greener pastures.

2.They are expendable. Will be kicked out

once the economic situation gets bad.

3.Low unsustainable wages,that's why the

younger Japanese don't want to be there

  in the first place.

4.Last but not least.Once these young

  Vietnamese start having babies,reports of

cases will start appearing here on JT

  about abandoned fetuses,arrests and

subsequent deportation etc.and categorized as criminals. There are

  conditions set.Can't have families.
