Posted in: What awaits 2 Americans accused of helping Ghosn flee Japan? See in context

Japan may give them a mission to get Ghosn out of Lebanon and bring him back to Japan, then no charge against them. Let them do it if they want to do it.

Posted in: 2 American men wanted for aiding Ghosn's escape arrive in Japan See in context

Two Americans would not go to jail for years. They are not main target but Ghosn is. It seems to me Japanese prosecutors want more detailed information about the Ghosn's escape plan. These guys will be convicted anyway and the penalty is they give up all money Ghosn paid for the escape plan. They probably would go home after they made true confession and all money was back to Japan.

why so late? Because it seems to me Japan doesn't need such a big hurry to get the vaccine, if compared with America, European countries and others.

Taxpayers money should not be used for such a stupid mistake for many months. I wonder why he did not check the storage tank at least once later. The mistake is completely official neglect.

Didn't anyone notice some of the children are actually walking on the road...

Outside lane (shoulder) on road is not sidewalk. It is called "rosokutai". Pedestrians always don't need to walk inside rosokutai lane, but they really need to walk on the (right/left) side of road. Rosokutai is convenient lane for both drivers and pedestrians. Drivers can stop/park/make U-turn on the rosokutai lane temporarily and also pedestrians can walk on the lane.

How many refueling places are there in Japan?

Not many so far. Electricity stations are more than hydrogen stations. Hydrogen fuel cell is as powerful as gasoline. Jet airplane can fly by hydrogen. Problem is constantly how to produce a lot of hydrogen all the time.

Posted in: Toyota unveils revamped Mirai hydrogen fuel cell car See in context

All cars would be hydrogen fuel cell engine in the future if car became reasonable (inexpensive) price and hydrogen stations were all over places like gas station, because hydrogen car has best mileage than ever. Hydrogen fuel cell airplanes can fly and truck/bus are running instead of regular fuel.

@Akie

Most Hong Kong people really want just democratic world there but Communist China forcibly cut/stopped it before time comes. Most Taiwanese people want their country independence from China. That's why Taiwan has its own defense military there. Tibetan and Uighur people want really independent country because they are NOT Chinese. They can't write and read Chinese. Communist China is forcibly assimilating these people into Chinese culture, so they now can't speak and read their own language any more. Who wants this way?

@Akie

As long as (for all people) seeing Hong Kong and Taiwan issue, Southeast China Sea islands, Tibet, Uighur, etc, Communist China seems forcibly invading more countries, islands, water territories whatever.

It seems Japan is preparing better defense with democratic countries/neighbors because China is forcibly trying to invade more islands and water territories.

what does Japan regret most ? Having started the pacific war or having lost it ?

It seems Japan doesn't regret any more. War was many decades ago. No more regret but the important thing is what Japan must/can do for the peaceful future. Japan moved on from miserable war and it has never made/started war for at least 75 years, hence no one and no soldiers died in battle and ever. War is against its constitution, except self-defense.

Japanese government time and again has failed on this issue and several others when dealing with S. Korea.

Japanese and S Korean government actually and officially signed in 2015 as final and irreversible. It seems to me Japan did not fail at all but S Korean failed on the issue.

It seems to me there were really bad Japanese and also bad Koreans used poor women to make a lot of money during war time.
