Spending huge amounts of money on a washed up, long past their sell by date big name does nothing to help the team. Well, maybe boost attendance and shirt sales.

Dentist? Any available dentist should be put for inoculation, since nurse is not eligible to do inoculation in Japan.

This is not correct. Qualified nurses can and are giving the vaccine, this is not just for covid.

Why do you think you need more than 50% to have a problem?

Not everyone sees the change in culture as positively as you. Their views are just as valued as yours.

Express Sister.... you and I both know that the Muslim population of all those countries is much bigger than 1%. In 2020 the UK it was about 5.2% in the census. That doesn't count over stayers and illegals and those who don't bother to answer.

If several international Olympic and sporting organizations get their way, trans athletes will be replacing women so maybe this problem will go away.... Or get worse?

Express sister....

All a little too late. Many European countries are already swamped with Muslim immigration.

Can you give some examples? Could you also qualify what you mean by the term, "swamped"?

Sure... Germany, Belgium, France and the UK. Swamped... too many. Its not just spicy food and Olympic quality athletes. Not everything about the imported culture is positive.

Posted in: Sturgeon: Scotland independence vote matter of when, not if See in context

Albaleo...

Scotland costs the rest of the UK (well, southern England if we are going to be honest) 15 billion pounds a year.

I'm not sure that's a useful argument. If true, presumably the north of England also costs the south of England (or perhaps the south east would be more accurate). So why doesn't the south east seek independence? Is it out of altruism or because the north is a source of cheap labour and supplies that can be exploited when needed and dropped when not?

This is true, the SE to a large degree funds the rest of the country. Wales and the north are also huge drags on the economy. Many countries have similar situations. Japan north of Gunma and south of Kobe.

Mickelicious........

When asked for a link someone instead gives us exceedingly good fakes.

Good one! To be fair, the Scots make an excellent shortbread and those Tunnocks caramel bars are pretty good too.

Scotland costs the rest of the UK (well, southern England if we are going to be honest) 15 billion pounds a year. And that's if the North sea oil revenue is considered Scottish.

Call their bluff..Calls for independence are just a ploy to get more cash out of Westminster.

Are the SNP aware of how much of the tax revenue spent in Scotland is actually raised north of the border?

English tax payers will be happy to see them go.

Have you not read the news for the last month?

There will be NO foreign fans.

A total of 13,400 competitors will be entering and leaving over a two month span. Add on the coaches, media etc and we are looking at 35,000 tops. All checked on arrival and regularly after. Most having been vaccinated

Not a great risk. Should they have been cancelled?

They should never bid for the games in the first place.
