Seems like a mental health problem to me. He himself has actually gone feral.

Anyone here in the comments who is supporting this dude should first think about what it might be like if you were his neighbor.

He needs some help for sure but not more funds to continue the craziness.

He is not that dissimilar to those peeps who compulsively store stuff in their house.

Buy the dip.

If you are long term in Japan, you can keep your funds in banks that pay close to nothing or invest in a stock that pays a dividend of 5% or so.

Enforcement is always an issue. Like Google and their threat to Australian media.

Let's count the similarities.

Nobody has heard this kid's defence (the article explicitly states that no reason was given for the refusal) but unilaterally condemn him or her. No wonder Trump's call for action on the election gained such traction.

Three essays in a row....now that can't be a coincidence.

Do not believe everything you read.

Should we really thank China as one writer suggests?

All these people posted so much personal info over the past 15 years and Facebook just took that data and ran with it. Made billions. Literally big billions.

What were people thinking? That this great "free" site lets me "connect" with everyone. How can that be bad?

If you want to continue to be a sucker, continue to use their products. They work well but there is a cost.

Don't ask the price. Even I don't know what it is exactly but you get what you pay for.

The Japanese market is poised for huge gains next year as the Trump debacle reverberates through Asia next year.

Trump just showed all of us how fragile their society really is. Asia will be the engine of world growth when this pandemic ends for many years to come.

Amazing story and Musk is certainly a visionary.

However, Tesla is now valued at absurd levels. It has a market cap of 780 billion while Toyota's cap is around 210 billion.

@spitfire what should he be offering? and so now, Abe has charisma?? That's a bit odd.

If they took the necessary precautions, which I am sure that they did given the microscope that they work under, I personally do not see the problem.

They have to run the country and that involves meeting peeps.

I don't see Suga in snack bars...just not that kind of dude.

I think I am kind of left but reading the above comments, makes me verge right.

Let the down votes begin.

Add media pressure. Mix with speculation from private punters like myself and you have yourself a very unhealthy situation ready to be served, dissected and spewed back into the mainstream with concerns about their mental health.

There appears to be vaccine here soon but those Aussies love a good block . Have you seen the youtube episodes on border control?

They way overplay their commitment to getting every sketchy player. Quite a few get by...you wouldn't think so but they do. Does it matter? Of course not. Public servants living the life.

Until quite recently Japan was the only place with zero interest rates. Now, it has become a global phenomenon. Incredible really.

Quality, internationally focused Japanese stocks can yield 2 to 5%. For readers with limited financial knowledge, yield refers to the dividend paid to the holder (typically twice a year). It is somewhat like the interest banks pay to depositors.

Currently my bank pays interest on 1 million yen of about 1000 yen. How good is that?

The correct answer is "not very good".

People who were concerned about Covid, mailed in votes, those not concerned about it chose to vote in person on the day.

That is pretty much the delineation of the two parties right there. Dems will dominate the mail votes, Trump knows that.
