Article says under 65s can start to book.

Can see a situation where younger folk are getting in before elderly folks creating a whole new wave of complaints from the elderly its not fair.

This case is so prominent and infamous its crazy to think the time it happened i was in Tokyo (nowhere near Akihabara)

With my poor Japanese ability and not a lot of interest in anything other than sport at the time i completely missed all of the news coverage at the time.

Bad way to handle this, her legitimate concerns will get dwarfed now by the sideshow of this.

Smarter move would have been turn up answer the questions with answers raising her issues.

Posted in: Gamba sack head coach Miyamoto after poor start to season See in context

Whilst i tend to go and watch Cerezo a lot more than Gamba sad to see him go, was a good player with a good history, a tad unlucky the squad recovering from a covid outbreak, but at times the football has been quite turgid from Gamba and the results les than impressive so can understand the decision.

Posted in: Tokyo governor says mutant strains of COVID-19 becoming dominant See in context

It is as if they dont research the world, they believed a short and powerful ( less powerful than other countries would help)

If they want to save their precious Olympics they need people working from home, business actually closed not just at 8pm and the vaccine rolled out quicker.

I'm all for protecting the economy but this is getting farcical now.

Are they seeking compensation for themselves or on behalf of the clubs affected?

Must be gutting for the food stalls that open around stadiums on matchdays only to lose yet more income.

Interesting choice in Soma, mixed results at his previous clubs, did a really good job with Machida but thats different than a huge club lile Kashima.

Hope it goes weill for him would be nice to see Kashima back challenging again.

Posted in: Man arrested in Kobe after stuffing fried chicken into ex-girlfriend’s mailbox See in context

Start of article states hes from Suita city, bottom says

He is maintaining that he wasn’t stalking his ex, though, and just happened to be in the neighborhood, though considering it’s about a 45-minute drive from Sakai to Kobe, that seems unlikely.

Not that it makes much difference on transport time just curious which it actually is.

Forget covid for a moment where does it come from that you can spit on a complete stranger doing their job.

My mum would have whopped me for spitting on the floor let alone another person.

Apart from a few less people out and about at night Suita is pretty similar to pre covid times. The message is,not getting through to enough people,so we are stuck on the hamster wheel going around in circles.
