A 55-year-old man who is a deputy manager of a department of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Bureau of Social Welfare and Health that deals with anti-coronavirus measures

This alone lets me know he will not even face a judge and all will dropped, leaving the victim to carry this weight of knowing he got away Scott-free because he had a kinda high title.

Matsuike had called 110 to report her husband was abusing her and police issued Fujita with a warning.

Last time I checked, spousal abuse was a crime, so why did they just let him off with a warning?

Police : hey man, your wife called us to let us know that you beat her! Don't do it again!

Hirofumi : Yeah, I won't..........sure.

Didn't that Enka singer lady's son do the same thing and got away with it after mommy bowed and cried on camera?

This is a clear example of why you should have a safe plan to get home if you're going out drink and plan to get mashed up proper. Because you'd have predators like this creep on the lookout for prey like this innocent victim.

a cybercrime patrol unit found a video of the suspect having sexual intercourse with the girl.

Unless they found a video of himself on his computer, its all understandable. But online......nah.

Though at 62, he should know by now about the samples in the window. I do know that I thought some of that food was real too when I first came to Japan thinking that they made fresh food that they put in the window.

He sounds like he might have been suffering from the early stages of delirium through hunger. To a starving person, the sight of those displays looking so real will make a man go mad!

Posted in: 6 high school students arrested for beating up 15-year-old boy See in context

The victim is unconscious and remains in critical condition following the beating, Sankei Shimbun reported. Police said the six boys, all aged 16, assaulted the junior high school student at a park in Yokohama between 7:30 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. on Jan 4.

The victim, who lives in Seya Ward, was repeatedly punched and kicked in the face and body. He suffered an acute subdural hematoma from severe internal bleeding in his brain.

And yet they still treat these hooligans as underaged kids.

I hope the victim makes a healthy recovery.

Fat enough to prevent you from sitting if you had it in your pants pocket! This is so disgusting now! Japan and its 2 sided justice system. The rich and famous get away with so much rubbish because they're "rich and famous".

Posted in: Suspect held for stealing wallet of man sleeping in station parking lot See in context

Have you browsed the crime section of this site lately? There have been missing kids, hit and run resulting in death and others in the news of recent.

I am in no way implying that the crimes posted here reflect in any way this "data" you lot are referring to. The stuff here and the stuff they have on the news and actual police dealings are completely different. Many of the crimes on this site aren't reported in this data because of its level of importance. Crimes like that manga studio arsonist gets front page, booked and reported into this data. While news like those people who keep their loved ones bodies to collect their pension rarely sees the light of any importance, thus does not get reported EVEN THOUGH it is a crime. So of course the "police' crime data" would be low and many other crimes would be omitted to look good!

Over six weeks, Japanese troops raped and killed tens of thousands — and by some estimates hundreds of thousands — of people after conquering Nanjing, then the capital of China, on Dec 13, 1937. Chen Xi, a senior party official called the massacre “an inhuman act in human history."

Better get ready, Japan! Because very soon, they're gonna come YET AGAIN with their begging cups and brandishing the past again in your face and skills of guilt trips like the other country even though history has been settled.
