You still have sporting events going on in Japan. I'm talking about importing possible virus strains into Japan not to mention those athletes that return home maybe bringing viruses with them. Australia normally sends a team of 600 with maybe a couple of hundred officials. Who is going to pay for their quarantine on return. I know I don't want to pay for it.

My concern with you is that you cherry pick which governments you criticise. Had this been a liberal government in Victoria I doubt we'd here boo from you. As for people wanting to come home the plane I came back on in April was almost empty. Anybody saying they can't get back now should have left earlier when warnings were given.

I wouldn't say NSW has done any better a job what with the Ruby Princess and the current situation with an American air crew not being subject to the same restrictions as everyone else.

I don't think that will be a problem. They may have to find people to carry the flags of the countries that don't go.

Baffling to say the least. I read that he'd tried to get in as a libertarian and a Democrat before. With some of the things he's done he should have been on the other side of some iron bars,not a lawmaker.
