Suga says it is IOC which decide to open Olympics or not. On the other hand, he says Japan earnestly wants to hold the Olympics while majority of the population want the Olympics cancelled or postponed. I am puzzled.

It looks like Japanese system is different. I do not check FB and Google for news. There are many web sites we can check for news such as Yahoo, Biglobe, Goo, Livedoor, Infoseek etc. I think they have contracts with news services Kyodo and Jiji as well as newspapers and magazines. I presume they are paying money for their uses of news and stories.

I am writing from Japan. I do not check FB and Google for news. I even did not know FB put news. To read news there are many places I can check. They have contracts with news services Kyodo and Jiji, and other major newspapers Asahi, Yomiuri etc. I think they pay some money to the news sources.

Oct.-Dec. was good because of Go-To-campaign. But it will sink Jan.-March due to State of Emergency. Japanese stocks rose hoping the end of the corona by the vaccines. When the corona is held down, the expectation will end and real economy will matter after that.
